Vieux Strasbourg Antique Plate (Made by Henri Chaumeil)

This is an antique plate of "Vieux Strasbourg," a traditional French pottery, featuring an elegant reddish-purple border and vibrant hand-painted flowers.

The greatest appeal of this plate is the handwritten signature "Vieux Strasbourg fait main" on the back, and the monogram "CH" below it.
This "CH" is known as the mark of the workshop of Henri Chaumeil, a prominent ceramist who carried on the Vieux Strasbourg style from the 19th to the 20th century.

Condition: No chips or cracks, and very little signs of use, making it in excellent condition.
