Vintage Plate HBCM Creil-Montereau Tolga D

This is a vintage Tolga series plate from the HBCM (Creil & Montereau) factory.

This vintage plate was made by HBCM (Hippolyte Boulenger Creil Montereau), a French pottery manufacturer.
The backstamp clearly shows "SERVICE TOLGA" and "H.B.C.M. FRANCE", indicating the plate's origin (see image).

Features of the Tolga series
The rim is adorned with an exotic botanical/geometric pattern of plants, depicted with delicate lines and dots.
The vibrant blue transfer print creates a sophisticated French chic dining experience.

The HBCM factory merged with the Choisy-le-Roi factory in 1920 and continued production until 1955, making it a historic kiln.
This plate is a valuable piece made during its heyday, between the 1920s and 1950s.

Condition: Craquelure due to age is spread throughout, but it is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
