Vintage Plate Luneville Libellule d'après Gallé (Dragonfly)
This is a vintage plate from the KG Luneville kiln, part of the Libellule series.
The "Libellule" series from the Saint-Clement kiln was designed by the Art Nouveau master, Emile Gallé.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were often incorporated into arts and crafts.
Its charm lies in the warm design, as if straight out of a picture book, featuring hand-painted flowers and adorable insects.
Condition: There is a small scratch of about 1mm on the rim, but there are no chips or cracks, and it is in very good condition.
Size: Approximately 25.5cm in diameter x 3cm in height
Period: Late 20th century
