Vintage Deep Plate, Moulin des Loups Bleuets A

This is a vintage deep plate from the Moulin des Loups pottery, from their Bleuets series.

Bleuets (cornflowers) bloom on a pristine white plate. They are surrounded by a basketweave pattern, along with adorable, grape-like berries.

It's a pleasure to gaze at it, letting your imagination wander, wondering if the beautiful blue of the "Bleuets" and the pattern symbolize France, or if the design is inspired by the Saxifrage family's Astilbe rather than the Asteraceae family.

It's a charming and beautiful deep plate.

Condition: There are crazing, cutlery marks, and 2-3 small protrusions from manufacturing, but there are no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition.
