Vintage Deep Plate Moulin des Loups Bleuets C

This is a vintage deep dish from the Moulin des Loups pottery, Bleuet series.

Bleuets (cornflowers) bloom on a pristine white plate. Surrounded by a basket pattern, there are also cute, grape-like berries.

One of the joys is gazing at it while letting your imagination run wild, wondering if "the beautiful blue of the Bleuets or the pattern symbolizes France" or "if it was designed with saxifrage, not a daisy, in mind."

It is a charming and beautiful deep dish.

Condition: There are cutlery marks and a chip on the foot rim.
