Vintage Deep Dish Moulin des Loups Bleuets H

This is a vintage deep plate from the Moulin des loups kiln, from their Bleuets series.

Bleuets (cornflowers) bloom on a pure white plate. They are surrounded by a basket weave pattern, with cute, grape-like berries.

It's a pleasure to gaze at it, letting your imagination run wild with thoughts like, "Is the design inspired by the beautiful blue of bleuets or a pattern symbolic of France?" or "Is it designed to evoke saxifrage rather than the daisy family?"

It's a charming and beautiful deep plate.

Condition: Crazing, utensil marks, and stains are visible on the rim.
