Vintage Deep Plate Moulin des Loups Bleuets J

This is a vintage deep plate from the Moulin des loups pottery, from the Bleuets series.

Bleuets (cornflowers) bloom on the pure white plate. Surrounded by a basket pattern, there are also cute, grape-like berries.

It's also a pleasure to gaze at it while letting your imagination run wild, wondering if "the beautiful blue of the Bleuets or the design symbolizes France" or "if it was designed with saxifrage, not a chrysanthemum, in mind."

It is a charming and beautiful deep plate.

Condition: Craquelure and cutlery marks are visible. There are chips on the footrim and the edge of the back, but these do not affect the front. There is a hairline crack on the rim.
