Vintage Digoin & Sarreguemines Agreste Divided Serving Dish
This is a vintage Agreste series ravie from the Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery.
A ravie is an oval plate popular in French dining for serving appetizers, side dishes, and hors d'oeuvres.
It features an elegant antique design with a scalloped, ruffled rim and deep wine-red lines.
Wildflowers such as poppies and cornflowers scattered from the center add a simple yet colorful touch, evoking a warm atmosphere reminiscent of the French countryside.
Its beautiful appearance not only adds a French chic accent to your dining table but also serves as a trinket dish or display item when placed in an entryway or on a sideboard.
Condition: Some cutlery marks are visible but not prominent. There are two chips on the back rim, and some unglazed areas on the foot, but it is visually clean and in relatively good condition.
Size: Approximately 27.5cm x 17cm, height approximately 3cm
Period: 1920s to 1960s
