This is a vintage raviere from the Agreste series by Digoin & Sarreguemines.

In French, "Agreste" means rustic, simple, or plain.
The bouquet of poppies, Canterbury bells, thistles, and daisies depicted on the plate are all plants commonly seen in the French countryside.
Their unpretentious, simple beauty adorns the floral-rimmed plate.
The red line on the rim subtly tightens the composition and enhances its splendor.
Perhaps another reason for its popularity is the artisan's playful touch, evident in the different flowers decorating the rim on each plate.

Condition: There are multiple small chips on the back rim, but these do not affect the front, and it remains in good condition.

Size: Approximately 26.5cm x 17.5cm x 2.7cm (height)

Period: Mid-20th century
