This is a vintage Agreste series ravie from the Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery.

In French, "Agreste" means rustic, simple, or unpretentious.
The bouquet of poppies, campanulas, thistles, and daisies depicted on the plate features plants commonly seen in the French countryside.
Their unpretentious, rustic beauty adorns the floral-rimmed plate.
The red line on the rim neatly ties the space together and enhances its splendor.
The fact that the flowers decorating the rim vary from plate to plate might be another reason for its popularity, revealing the maker's playful spirit.

Condition: There are several small chips on the back rim, but they do not affect the front, and it remains in good condition.
