Antique Rectangular Plate, Saint-Amand, Lace
This is an antique rectangular plate from the Saint-Amand pottery.
The delicate, lace-like decoration on the rim creates a soft texture, as if layers of fabric have been draped.
This piece has the power to transform any space or dish into an atmosphere reminiscent of a charming old French atelier, while blending in seamlessly.
Recommended uses:
It pairs beautifully with freshly baked baguettes or casually placed croissants. It's also perfect for arranging scones for afternoon tea.
As a decorative item, the clean white porcelain makes an excellent tray for your favorite perfume bottles or pearl accessories.
With a height of 5cm, it's practical too, as items placed on it are less likely to fall off.
【Condition】Near the center of the plate, there are a few small protrusions from manufacturing and marks (peeling marks) where it was separated during stacking and firing.
These are known as "meyat" or kiln flaws, which are commonly seen in antique ceramics, and are not later damage (chips).
Otherwise, there are no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition.
