Vintage Plate Staffordshire Windsor A

This is a vintage plate from Ridgway's Windsor series.

Ridgway was an English pottery established in 1744. Although it no longer exists, it grew significantly thanks to its dedicated craftsmanship.

The rim is adorned with a lavish chandelier-like design, featuring birds dancing among beautifully blooming, ornate flowers.
The moss green transferware is hand-painted, giving it a more glamorous and elegant impression.

When the dinner plate and large platter are stacked, they resemble peony petals, creating a very opulent display.
It's a charming series that you'll want to display as a decorative plate.

Condition: No chips, crazing, or cutlery marks; appears unused.
