Vintage Large Plate Staffordshire Windsor A

This is a vintage Ridgway platter from the Windsor series.

Ridgway was an English pottery established in 1744. Although it no longer exists, it grew significantly due to its dedicated craftsmanship.

Birds flutter amidst beautifully blooming, luxurious flowers, and the rim is adorned with a design resembling an opulent chandelier.
The moss green transferware is hand-painted, exuding warmth alongside its elegance.

When a dinner plate and platter are stacked, they resemble peony petals, creating a very lavish display.
It's an appealing series that makes you want to enjoy combining its pieces.

Condition: Very good, with almost no signs of use.
