Antique Dessert Plate, Sarreguemines Richelieu A

This is an antique dessert plate from the Salins pottery, part of their Richelieu series.

It features expressive colors created using a stenciling technique.
With a sophisticated navy blue and deep burgundy red, flowers and geometric patterns adorn the rim of the plate.
The soft blurring unique to stenciling and the slightly varying color shades on each plate convey the warmth of handcrafted work.

Condition: Very good condition with no chips or cracks.
Size: Approximately 20.5cm diameter x 2cm height

Period: 1912-1950
