This is a vintage deep plate from the Salins pottery, part of the Messidor series.

Manufactured between 1950 and 1960, its charm lies in its hand-painted, gentle texture.
The rim is rhythmically soft, like flower petals. A deep crimson border highlights its lines, creating a适度 tension.
Ears of wheat and flowers are vividly depicted, conveying the joy of harvest.
The deep, purplish red color gives it a calm and mature impression. Therefore, despite the large pattern, it doesn't stand out too much and blends beautifully.
It's a beautiful plate that you'll want to display like a painting.

"Messidor" is a term from the French Revolutionary Calendar meaning "harvest month," which corresponds to mid-June to mid-July in the current calendar.

The stamp on the back reads "E.C.," which is likely an abbreviation for Edouard Charbonnier.
Edouard Charbonnier, son of Robert Charbonnier of the Longchamp pottery, served as president of Salins pottery from 1912 to 1968.
