This is a barbotine basket from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory.
It's a large barbotine basket. I imagine it was once used to serve fruit salad.
The lid is adorned with an abundance of delicious-looking strawberries. One can almost sense their fresh aroma.
This barbotine piece would be lovely as a table centerpiece or displayed on a shelf.
Condition: Craquelure is present throughout, and there are several spots of discoloration. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
