Vintage Deep Plate, Limoges GDA Chaux de Fonds B

GDA stands for the initials of Gerard, Dufraissex et Abbot.
It is a porcelain deep plate.
The "Chaux-de-fonds" series is named after a city famous for its watchmaking industry in Switzerland,
and it is believed to have been designed with inspiration from this location.
It features delicate floral patterns reminiscent of Rococo style and gracefully curved relief work,
with the gilded rim particularly evoking the opulent banquets of the aristocracy of that era.
At first glance, its color scheme and design are charming and reminiscent of Marie Antoinette.
