Vintage Deep Plate Limoges GDA Chaux de Fonds

GDA stands for the initials of Gerard, Dufraissex et Abbot.
It is a porcelain deep dish.
The "Chaux-de-fonds" series is named after a city famous for its watchmaking industry in Switzerland,
and is believed to have been designed with inspiration from this location.
It features delicate floral patterns reminiscent of Rococo style and gracefully curved reliefs,
especially the gilded rim, which evokes the lavish banquets of aristocrats of that era.
At first glance, its color scheme and design are appealing, reminiscent of Marie Antoinette.
