Vintage Deep Plate, Gien Brigitte (A)

This is a vintage deep plate from Gien's Brigitte series.

Unlike flat plates, the checkered pattern drawn along the curve of the bowl creates a three-dimensional appearance.
The way the bordeaux and navy lines intersect is a joy, as if you are looking at old French paper goods or textiles.

The contrast between the soft white porcelain, characteristic of antiques, and the hand-drawn lines is beautiful, creating a calm atmosphere like a "still life" just by placing it in a space.
It is also recommended to display it as a collector's piece alongside old tools and plants.
