Vintage Deep Plate, Gien Brigitte (B)

This is a vintage deep dish from the Gien faience factory, from the Brigitte series.

Unlike flat plates, the checkered pattern drawn along the curve of the dish creates a three-dimensional impression.
The intersecting bordeaux and navy lines evoke the pleasure of looking at old French paper goods or textiles.

The beautiful contrast between the soft white porcelain characteristic of antiques and the hand-painted lines creates a calm atmosphere, like a "still life" painting, just by placing it in a space.
We also recommend displaying it as a collector's piece, alongside old tools or plants.

【Condition】No chips or cracks, with minimal signs of use, in very good condition.
