Vintage Deep Plate Gien Brigitte C

This is a vintage deep dish from Gien (Gien faience), part of the Brigitte series.

Unlike a flat plate, the checkered pattern drawn along the curve of the dish creates a three-dimensional appearance.
The intersecting bordeaux and navy lines evoke the pleasure of looking at old French paper goods or textiles.

The contrast between the soft white porcelain, characteristic of antiques, and the hand-painted lines is beautiful, creating a calm "still life" atmosphere just by placing it in a space.
It is also recommended to display it as a collection piece, perhaps alongside old tools or plants.

【Condition】There are small chips on the back and the foot ring, but no other noticeable chips or cracks, and with minimal signs of use, it is in very good condition.
