Vintage Deep Plate, Digoin & Sarreguemines Obernai

This is a vintage deep plate from Digoin & Sarreguemines, part of the Obernai series.

The highly popular Obernai series was designed by Henry Loux, an artist from the Alsace region of France, and
it vividly depicts the beautiful streets and everyday life of Alsace.

This deep plate features an evocative winter scene with snow-covered landscapes and a red-roofed church.
The withered plants in the foreground and the gently flowing river convey the harsh yet beautiful winter scenery of Alsace.
Surrounding the central image, the rim is adorned with beautiful bouquets and ribbon decorations, making it a gorgeous and highly sought-after piece among collectors.

It can be enjoyed not only as tableware to brighten your dining table but also as a decorative interior piece in a cabinet.
