This is a vintage deep plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery, part of the Obernai series.

The highly popular Obernai series was designed by Henry Loux, a painter from the Alsace region of France.
It vividly depicts the beautiful streetscapes and daily life of Alsace.

This deep plate features a warm scene with timber-framed houses typical of the Alsace region and a large gate.
The meticulously drawn garden details and the cart placed in front of the house convey the lifestyle of that era.
Surrounding the central illustration, the rim is adorned with beautiful bouquets and ribbons, making it a splendid piece highly popular among collectors.

It can be enjoyed not only as tableware to brighten your dining table but also as an interior decoration displayed in a cabinet.
