Vintage deep plate Sarreguemines Windsor A

This is a vintage deep plate from the Sarreguemines Windsor series.

Windsor is the name of a town along the River Thames, west of London.

Many of the roofs and walls in that town are reddish-brown. The plate's color scheme, reminiscent of that town, creates a very calm atmosphere.
