This is a vintage Gien soup tureen from the Colmar series.
Colmar is the name of a French town near the German border.
This series features a refined and elegant design with a gilded garland and hand-painted green line around the rim.
Condition: The gilding shows some slight fading in places, but there is almost no sign of use, making it in very good condition.
Dimensions: 30cm x 25cm x Height 15cm (10.5cm without lid)
