Antique Standed Plate Ruines

This is an antique pedestal plate from the Gien faience factory, from the "Ruines" series.

As the French word "ruines" (ruins) suggests, it meticulously depicts crumbling buildings and the plants that grow there. Birds soaring through the sky add a sense of dynamism to the serene landscape.

Condition: It has age-related crazing and some minor stains, but no chips or cracks, and is in very good condition.
