Antique Tart Dish, Sarreguemines 4064

This is a vintage tart dish from Digoin & Sarreguemines, part of the 4064 series.

The stencil-painted rose pattern, combined with the basket weave design, creates a charming country atmosphere.

The refreshing contrast between the orangey-yellow and blue is also lovely.

Condition: Minor, barely noticeable shallow chips on the rim, and utensil marks on the inside surface.

Period: The backstamp dates from 1920 onwards. We estimate it to be from the 1950s-1960s.
