Vintage Deep Plate - Villeroy & Boch Fleurs des champs B
This is a vintage deep plate from the Villeroy & Boch (Villeroy & Boch) kiln, from the Fleurs des champs series.
"Fleurs des champs" means "wildflowers" in French.
As the name suggests, a bouquet of lovely wild flowers such as poppies, campanulas, daisies, and cornflowers is carefully depicted in the center of the plate.
Similar designs for this series can also be found at the French Digoin & Sarreguemines kiln,
but Villeroy & Boch's unique refined atmosphere is a distinguishing feature.
Particularly noteworthy is the distinctive decagonal (10-sided) shape.
Unlike typical scalloped rims, the sleek and beautiful lines add an elegant accent to your dining table.
Furthermore, the red border line tightens the overall design appropriately and further enhances the splendor of the wild flowers.
Condition: No chips or cracks, and very good condition with little signs of use.
