Vintage Deep Plate - Villeroy & Boch Fleurs des Champs C

This is a vintage deep plate from the Villeroy & Boch "Fleurs des champs" series.

"Fleurs des champs" means "wildflowers" in French.
As the name suggests, a charming bouquet of wildflowers such as poppies, campanulas, daisies, and cornflowers
is delicately depicted in the center of the plate.

Similar designs for this series can be found from the French Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery,
but this Villeroy & Boch piece features a uniquely refined aesthetic.
Particularly noteworthy is its distinctive decagonal (10-sided) shape.
Unlike typical fluted edges, its clean and beautiful lines add an elegant accent to your dining table.

Additionally, the red trim line perfectly tightens the overall design, further highlighting the vibrancy of the wildflowers.

Condition: No chips or cracks, with minimal signs of use, in excellent condition.
