Vintage deep dish, Villeroy & Boch Fleurs des champs D

This is a vintage deep plate from the Villeroy & Boch Faience Factory, from the "Fleurs des champs" series.

"Fleurs des champs" means "wildflowers" in French.
As the name suggests, the center of the plate features a carefully drawn bouquet of charming wildflowers, including poppies, foxgloves, daisies, and cornflowers.

Similar designs for this series can be found from the French Digoin & Sarreguemines factory,
but this one from Villeroy & Boch has a distinctively refined feel.
A notable feature is its distinctive decagonal (10-sided) shape.
Unlike typical floral rims, its clean, beautiful lines add an elegant touch to any table setting.

Additionally, the red line around the rim subtly tightens the overall design, further highlighting the vibrancy of the wildflowers.

Condition: There is crazing due to age, but no chips or cracks, and very little sign of use, making it in excellent condition.
