Vintage Platter - Villeroy & Boch Fleurs des champs 31cm

This is a vintage large platter from Villeroy & Boch, part of their Fleurs des champs series.

"Fleurs des champs" means "wildflowers" in French.
As the name suggests, the center of the plate features a meticulously drawn bouquet of charming wild flowers, including poppies, foxgloves, daisies, and cornflowers.

This series shares a similar design with items from the French Digoin & Sarreguemines factory,
but Villeroy & Boch's version is characterized by its refined atmosphere.
Particularly noteworthy is its distinctive decagonal (10-sided) shape.
Unlike typical floral rims, its sleek, beautiful lines add an elegant accent to any dining table.

Furthermore, the red border line neatly ties the entire design together, further enhancing the vividness of the wildflowers.

Condition: There is some crazing due to age, but there are no chips or cracks, and signs of use are minimal, making its condition very good.
