Vintage Plate - Villeroy & Boch Fleurs des champs 35cm

This is a vintage large plate from the Villeroy & Boch "Fleurs des champs" series.

"Fleurs des champs" is French for "wildflowers."
As the name suggests, the center of the plate features a meticulously drawn bouquet of charming wildflowers, including poppies, campanulas, daisies, and cornflowers.

Similar designs for this series can also be found from the French Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery,
but Villeroy & Boch's version is characterized by its refined atmosphere.
Of particular note is its distinctive decagonal (10-sided) shape.
Unlike typical fluted rims, its sleek and beautiful lines add an elegant accent to any dining table.

Furthermore, the red rim accentuates the overall design and highlights the vibrancy of the wildflowers.

Condition: Craquelure due to age is visible, but there are no chips or cracks, and signs of use are minimal, indicating a very good condition.
