Vintage Footed Plate, Villeroy & Boch Fleurs des champs (B)

This is a vintage footed plate from the Villeroy & Boch pottery, from their Fleurs des champs series.

"Fleurs des champs" means "wildflowers" in French.
As the name suggests, a charming bouquet of wildflowers, including poppies, campanulas, daisies, and cornflowers, is delicately painted in the center of the plate.

Similar designs can be found in this series from the French Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery,
but Villeroy & Boch's distinctive refined atmosphere is a hallmark of this piece.
Of particular note is its distinctive decagonal (ten-sided) shape.
Unlike common floral rims, its sleek, beautiful lines add an elegant touch to your dining table.

Furthermore, the red trim around the edge nicely tightens the overall design, further highlighting the vibrancy of the wildflowers.

Condition: Craquelure due to age is visible, and there is a hairline crack on the rim, but it is not noticeable. In good condition.
