I've added a vintage plate from the Longchamp pottery.
The Traditional "Trianon" and the Pristine White Deep Plate
The stars of this feature are the "Trianon" dessert plates from the Longchamp kiln and a white vintage deep plate from the 1970s.
1. "Trianon" where you can feel the breath of the craftsman
The Trianon series, made in the mid-20th century, features hand-painted flowers. The strength of the brushstrokes and the way the colors are applied differ from plate to plate, and the beauty of antiques lies in the subtle variations in expression even with the same pattern. The wavy rim and Bordeaux line, combined with the hand-painted flowers, instantly brighten and adorn any dining table.
2. Serene White Deep Plate
On the other hand, the deep plate from the 1970s boasts a simple beauty with its pared-down ornamentation. The subtle delicate line subtly applied to the edge and the thick, plump white glaze seamlessly blend into modern table settings.
The appeal of antiques as "decorations"
These plates are excellent not only for practical use but also as interior accents.
-
Trianon: Utilize its vibrant colors by displaying it on a plate stand in a cabinet or on a wall. It will add color to your space as if you were displaying a painting.
-
White deep plate: The pristine white is also perfect as a tray for dried flowers or candles. Simply placing it there creates a French chic corner.
Please take a look.
