The feel of Manufacture de Digoin products

Usability of Manufacture de Digoin (hereinafter Digoin)

It's been almost a year since I started using Digoin. I'd like to share my experience using it.
The appealing aspect of Digoin is its substantial weight. It has a robust feel that plastic or ceramic products can't replicate. While plates and cups don't feel heavy, larger bowls might be difficult for women to hold with one hand. It's solid and I absolutely love it.
I use it daily, so I put it in the dishwasher often. Yet, there's no sign of color fading or damage, which is perfect for someone as lazy as me. I love pudding, so after I make the pudding mixture (it's very easy to make), I pour it into a Digoin cup and put it in the oven. The contrast between the egg-yolk color of the pudding and the color of the Digoin makes for a lovely, stylish dessert! If I add cream and fruit, it transforms into a pudding a la mode! I mistakenly thought, "Have I become good at making sweets?!"

My favorite items are the dessert plates and dinner plates. Whether I put a store-bought cake on it, or rice and salad, and my usual dinner side dishes on the dinner plate, it instantly transforms into a proper cafe. It's also不思議 (mysterious/amazing) how even if the plating isn't perfect, just arranging the food together makes it look stylish. Perhaps it's because Digoin's simple colors enhance the food.
And since I use them every day, dirty dishes go straight into the dishwasher! Once the "beep-beep" finished signal sounds, I just put them back on the shelf. I feel like I might be scolded for being too lazy!

Digoin is sold in France as "sturdy tableware that won't break easily even if dropped!" I occasionally break glass cups or plates while washing dishes (and it's always my favorite ones), but I've never broken a Digoin piece yet! What if I break it right after writing this...? My children use it too, and so far, there have been no chips or cracks.
Although it's a bit pricey, I think it's a good value and eco-friendly if I can continue to use it until I'm old. In France, when couples get married, they list the items they want and tell their guests and friends. Those celebrating then buy and present these items. (It was also shown in Sex and the City.) The mother of the owner of Loane Interior still cherishes and uses the plates and cafe au lait bowls she requested for her wedding, even after more than 40 years. I, too, want to continue to cherish and use my beloved Digoin items.
